Tips to Personalize your Jewelry

Jewelry by nature is personal. But how can you really personalize your jewelry? We offer several opportunities to customize and personalize heirloom pieces as well as jewelry from your own collection. Further, personalized jewelry makes for a phenomenal gift for any occasion - birthday, anniversary, push present and graduation, among others!

Tips to Personalize your jewelry

Engraving

One way to personalize is with engraving. We offer complimentary engraving on wedding bands for couples who purchase their rings from us. Typically couples will select short and meaningful words or a date to engrave on the inside of their rings.
We also encourage engraving on signet rings (think a family crest or initials), or on blank polished gold spaces such as dog tags, ID bracelets, disc charms and more. Engraving adds a special touch and makes the jewelry ‘irreplaceable,’ as no two pieces will have that same meaningful markings.

Custom Design

Another way to put a personal touch on your jewelry is to create it from scratch. We are experts in custom designs and work with you to revitalize or recreate your existing heirloom or dated pieces. Alternatively, we can create a piece of jewelry entirely from scratch to make it truly and uniquely yours.

Stone Selection & Sequencing

Included in the custom design process is the concept of stone selection and sequence. We can customize your jewelry by either sourcing the best stones and sequence them in a way that makes it personal or by using what materials you already have. Anything you see on our store’s website can be recreated with your own stones, or sourced diamonds / stones of any color.
We encourage clients to consider this option, particularly when it comes to gift-giving. This showcases thoughtfulness and strong attention to detail. For Mother’s Day, think of gifting grandma a diamond-by-the-yard necklace with the birthstones of all of her children and grandchildren. For an anniversary, consider an eternity band with semi-precious or precious stones in your favorite color. For the graduate, consider a creating a piece of jewelry that features a selection of stones that represent school colors!

Charms

Charms have forever been a form of self-expression. Charm bracelets, for example, are a curated collection of places you have traveled, hobbies, milestones, etc. But perhaps you haven’t considered turning existing pieces of jewelry sitting into your jewelry box into a charm?
We love to turn your old cufflinks into a charm to give it an entirely new look. The same applies for a pair of earrings or a necklace you don’t wear anymore. What about your mother’s old charm bracelet? Consider taking it apart and wearing some of the charms. Let's make the old new again!
You can wear charms on a modern chain, such as a paperclip chain and give it a totally new look. Wear one or several charms at a time to make your look even more versatile… all while being able to enjoy the sentiment of your jewelry.
Don't forget about our new block letter lowercase charms available by special order and our Rachel Reid diamond initial charms. (Both shown below)
