THE SOLITAIRE

A clean and classy look is the solitaire diamond engagement ring. This setting allows you to appreciate the center stone without any distraction of side stones, halos, or diamonds around the shank. We are seeing many brides lean towards either a completely bare shank or a shank with diamonds to add a little more sparkle.

FANCY SHAPE DIAMONDS

Elongated diamonds such as radiants, emeralds and cushions are receiving a lot of love! Brides like the idea of an elongated stone because it helps to make the finger look longer itself. Elongated diamonds can cover a good amount of surface area. Also popular now is pear shapes and marquise - they are unique and extraordinary classy.

YELLOW GOLD RESURGENCE

Many people find yellow gold more casual, and therefore wearable on a daily basis. We are seeing a shift from traditional white gold and platinum to yellow gold for engagement rings. Many brides are partial to yellow gold because they feel it better compliments their style. Depending on the color and clarity of the stone, we sometimes recommend setting the diamond in white gold to bring out the high color and clarity qualities of the stone. Then by making the shank yellow gold, we can add in that style element without compromising the diamond by adding a yellow tint to the center stone.
